The Century Foundation, a public policy research institution headquartered in New York City, is seeking an economic policy researcher/fellow who is particularly knowledgeable about macroeconomics and the federal budget. The researcher would be responsible for preparing issue briefs, blog posts, and other published material analyzing economic challenges in the United States particularly in the context of debates over federal fiscal policy. As a progressive think tank, The Century Foundation supports policy ideas with a strong potential to promote broadly shared prosperity. We also have raised concern that excessive alarmism about federal deficits can impede sensible policymaking. For more on The Century Foundation, see www.tcf.org.
Responsibilities include:
—Conduct research and analysis on federal budgetary policy.
